Clove oil is known for its many benefits from reducing inflammation, detoxing the liver, improving blood circulation, boosting the immune system, and more.

Found in Indonesia and Madagascar, clove is picked by hand in summer and again in the winter. The pink buds are dried until they turn brown. The buds are either left whole, ground into a spice, or distilled into essential oil.

There is a variety of health benefits of clove oil. Here are some of the most popular uses:

1.  Fights Candida 

It is very known for fighting candida. It is just as effective as conventional medicine for yeast infections.

It is also effective at killing intestinal parasites. To cleanse the body from candida or a parasite, clove oil is a great start.  It is recommended to take this oil internally for two weeks for this cleanse.  Firstly, make sure the oil used is for ingestion. Clove oil kills the bacteria that is linked to acne. You can mix 3 drops of clove oil and mix it with two teaspoons of raw honey. Mix the honey and oil together, apply to face, and wash off with water.

It is 30 times more antioxidants than blueberries and many other fruits. This helps protect your body against bacteria, viruses, free radical damage, and cell death.

It is important to note that a large amount of clove oil is not necessary. As a result, studies also shown large doses of clove internally can wreak havoc on the digestive lining and irritate sensitive skin. Taking small safe amounts can avoid these harmful effects.

It boosts the immune system to help fight off and prevent sickness. It has a powerful ability to kill invaders that cause sickness. Consequently, clove is a well known natural remedy used during the cold and flu season.

Precautions For Clove Oil

  • Clove interacts with blood thinning medication and should not be combined with this medication
  • It is highly recommended, to dilute clove oil with a carrier oil like coconut oil
  • Do not use clove oil internally for longer than two weeks
  • Do not use on children under the age of two
  • Talk to your doctor about using clove oil if you are pregnant or nursing
  • Make sure clove is 100 percent organic
