Healing your body from any disease is not easy. I talk with so many people that are in a rush to heal and miss key steps along the journey. I always say that healing is not an overnight process. It takes time, patience, dedication, and compassion. It is like when you cook a nice meal. If you slowly cook the meal, it allows the flavors to be more potent and delicious. Versus cooking something in an hour, the flavors have no time to develop and sustain. When it comes to your healing journey take your time!

Be Patient On Your Healing Journey
If you are constantly worrying about the next step and trying to rush ahead, you miss what is going on in the present moment. In order to heal you need to stay present because you need to listen to what your body is telling you. Your body is always trying to communicate with you through your symptoms. So being patient and listening are a must.
Do Not Set A Time Limit On Healing
There is no time limit when it comes to your healing. If I told myself that I would quit after not healing in four months, I would have never healed. If I told myself I will give up after trying ten different healing techniques or going to ten doctors, I would have never healed. You are going to have good and bad days, so it’s most important not to give up. You will get where you need to be in time.
Allow Yourself To Be Quiet And Listen To Your Body For Healing
This is one of the most important steps. No one knows your body better than you. So no one can tell you exactly what to do, your body can only tell you. It is ok to take guidance from others, but know we are all different. What may work for me may not work for you. You should implement different techniques and then sit back and listen. Your body will let you know if it is a fit for you or not. Do not force yourself to do anything your body is rejecting. That will take you on the road to failure. I do not care if someone told you a million people healed from eating eggplant (I made that up). If your body says no, that is all that matters.
Go With The Flow
There were many times where I felt mentally exhausted while on my healing journey. Looking back I wish it didn’t take me so long to learn to go with the flow. After I embraced staying calm and positive, I started to see actual change. I started to go with the flow by living day to day, trying my best, and making little changes to my lifestyle. The most stress relieving thing to do for your journey is learning how to go with the flow. I will let you in on a little secret, things only happen when they are meant to. There is no such thing as coincidences, there are only synchronicities. All things happen for a reason and at the right time. You may not know why now but one day you will. Going with the flow will allow you to have more patience, stay present, and cultivate knowing your own body.
